Christmas Tree Recycling in Anne Arundel
The county offers tips for how to prepare your pine for pick-up after the holidays.

There's nothing like the excitement of decorating and unwrapping presents by the tree. But once Christmas comes and goes, it may be tempting to quickly toss the tree to the curb with the empty boxes and ripped wrapping paper.
But before you do, the Anne Arundel County has some guidelines for you to follow when disposing your live tree.
Christmas trees will be collected on the regular curbside collection day and should be placed outside by 6 a.m. on that day to make sure that it's not missed.
To avoid making a mess and having needles in the carpet, tree experts suggest purchasing a tree disposal bag from a local hardware store and carting it out in the bag.
