Glen Burnie: Drug offenses
Police charged two Glen Burnie men Monday with drug offenses after they were pulled over on Crain Highway.

Charles William Davis, 43, and Darnell Brown, 28, were both charged with drug distribution and possession.
According to a police press release, officers pulled over white 2003 Chevrolet Silverado for alleged speeding as it traveled south on Crain Highway in the area of Central Avenue.

Officers said when they approached the truck, they smelled a strong odor of suspected PCP coming from the truck. Upon further investigation, officers found two cigarettes containing PCP as well as about 10.71 grams of suspected crack cocaine individually packaged for distribution and $231 in cash. Officers also seized the truck.

Glen Burnie:
As of Tuesday morning, police still were trying to locate Cornelius Keith Johnson, 24, of Baltimore in connection with the murder of Andrew Michael Johnson, 25, on Sunday night in Glen Burnie.
While the victim and the suspect share a last name, "no information is available concerning a possible relationship," said Lt. Francis Tewey, Anne Arundel County Police spokesman.
Police said Cornelius Johnson should be considered "armed and dangerous" and anyone with information about his whereabouts should call 911 or contact homicide Detective Norval Cooper at 410-222-3453.
According to a police press release, officers responded to the parking lot of , located in the 7100 block of Ritchie Highway, at about 10:35 p.m. Sunday for a reported shooting.
Once on the scene, officers discovered Andrew Johnson outside on the parking lot. He apparently was shot in the upper torso, police said. Johnson was taken to Harbor Hospital where he later died.
According to preliminary investigation, police said the incident was not a random act of violence.
Glen Burnie: Car accident
Two people were injured in a car collision around 1 p.m. Sunday at Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Sandy Ridge Drive, according to Lt. Cliff Kooser, Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman.
A 51-year-old woman was taken to the shock trauma center in Baltimore with serious, but not life-threatening injuries. A second person was treated for minor injuries at .

Glen Burnie: Armed robbery
A woman robbed a Glen Burnie gas station at knife point Saturday morning, police said.
According to a police press release, officers responded to the Xtramart located in the 7700 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard at about 4:40 a.m. Saturday for a reported armed robbery.
Once on the scene, officers spoke to a store employee who said a woman entered the store and made a purchase.
The woman then walked behind the counter, pulled a knife and demanded cash from the register. The employee complied and gave an undisclosed amount of cash to the woman who fled the store.
Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the woman.

Glen Burnie: Robbery
A man robbed a Glen Burnie pharmacy Friday afternoon, police said.
According to a police press release, officers responded to the Neighborhood Care Pharmacy in the 300 block of Hospital Drive in Glen Burnie at about 4 p.m. Friday for a reported robbery.
Once on the scene, officers spoke with employees who said the man entered the business, handed a note to an employee demanding medications. The employee reportedly complied and gave the man a variety of medications before he ran from the store toward the rear of the business.
Several officers searched the area but were unable to locate the man.

Brooklyn Park:
Police reportedly charged a man and a woman at the Budget Plaza Motel in Brooklyn Park Thursday with several drug offenses on Thursday.
Barrow Shendell Staten, 39, and Patricia Lynell Moore, 48, were charged with numerous drug-related offenses, according to a police press release.
Detectives served a search warrant at room 125 in the Budget Plaza Motel at about 6 p.m. Thursday. During the search, detectives seized 70 capsules of suspected heroin, .33 grams of suspected crack cocaine, $436 in cash and drug paraphernalia.

Glen Burnie: Prescription fraud
A Glen Burnie man was charged with attempted prescription fraud at a Glen Burnie pharmacy Nov. 7, police said.
Kenneth Lee Mayfield Jr., 22, was charged with attempting to obtain a controlled dangerous substance by forging a prescription and other related charges.
According to a police report, officers responded to the store in the 7300 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie after being informed that a man had dropped off two fraudulent prescriptions and was waiting for them to be filled.
Officers identified and detained Mayfield and further investigation found that he allegedly attempted to obtain oxycodone and prednisone.

Glen Burnie:
Police had to use a Taser on a Glen Burnie man who faces multiple charges after he was allegedly seen running around his yard without clothes on and apparently under the influence of drugs on Nov. 5.
David Rexrode, 44, was charged with possession of PCP, resisting arrest, disorderly conduct and indecent exposure.
According to Anne Arundel County Police spokesman Justin Mulcahy, officers responded to the 500 block of Kent Circle at about 9:25 a.m. on Nov. 5 after a man was reported to be running in a yard without wearing clothes.
Once on the scene, officers found Rexrode, who apparently was under the influence of drugs. Police said they used the Taser to get him under control after he refused to cooperate with officers and resisted arrest. He was taken to the to be treated.

Glen Burnie:
Anne Arundel County Police released a surveillance video photograph of a man who they are seeking in connection with the theft of a jewelry store.
According to a police press release, the man in the photograph walked into the on Oct. 27 and asked to see a 22-inch men's gold necklace worth $7,000. Police said the man indicated that he planned to buy the necklace.
When the sales associate got the necklace and took it to the register, police say the man grabbed it and ran out of the store.
