Glen Burnie: Accident

A man and woman were rushed to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore following a motor vehicle collision in Glen Burnie, according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Capt. James Rostek.

The collision was described as a vehicle rollover that occurred around 3:41 a.m. Sunday on Ritchie Highway near 13th Street, Rosteck said.

Glen Burnie: Drug arrest

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man Friday afternoon after officers said they found drugs and knives in a Hyundai Sonata during a traffic stop.

Corey Germaine Jenkins, 35, was charged with possession of marijuana and crack cocaine, possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a dangerous and deadly weapon, police said.

Odenton: Robbery arrests

Anne Arundel County police said they arrested five people, including a Glen Burnie man, in connection with the robbery of a pizza driver in Seven Oaks early Friday morning.

Police charged Brandon Lemar-Irving Dudley, 18, of Glen Burnie, with robbery. They also charged Odenton residents Dionte Cain, 20, Taylor Alyssa Crawford, 19, and Bijan Rene Adams, 18. A 17-year-old from Severn was also handed a juvenile citation, police said.

Glen Burnie: Sexual assault of a minor arrest

Police arrested a English teacher on Thursday who they say had sexual relationships with three students during the past two years.

Jeffrey Robert Sears Jr., 29, of Glen Burnie, was arrested Thursday morning and charged with multiple counts of sexual abuse of a minor, multiple counts of fourth-degree sex offense, third-degree sex offense, multiple counts of perverted practice, sexual solicitation of a minor and multiple assault charges, police said.

Glen Burnie: Robbery arrest

Anne Arundel County police said they arrested a Glen Burnie man early Thursday morning after receiving an alarm call from an Ace Hardware store.

Police said in a press release that Richard Scott Rotramel, 48, was charged with second-degree burglary, theft under $1,000, destruction of property and resisting arrest.

Linthicum: Swift water rescue

A man was rescued by a swift water rescue team after he drove his car into a flooded roadway and got stuck early Thursday morning, according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Steve Thompson.

Glen Burnie: Sexual assault of a minor arrest

Anne Arundel County Police arrested a Glen Burnie man Wednesday after police say he was caught performing a sex act on a boy earlier this month.

Kurt Melvin Singleton, 52, was charged with sexual abuse of a minor, second-degree sex offense, three counts of third-degree sex offense, three counts of fourth degree sex offense, three counts of second-degree assault and perverted practice, police said.

Brooklyn Park: Discharging a firearm arrest

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Brooklyn Park man early Wednesday morning after they say he fired a shotgun inside his home.

William Bennington, 50, of Brooklyn Park, was charged with reckless endangerment and discharging a firearm within 100 yards of a structure, police said.
