Data Center To Open in Former Boscov's Location

Beltsville-based AiNET will bring a data center the size of six football fields to Glen Burnie, with the first phase opening in July, according to the Baltimore Business Journal.

Beltsville-based AiNET will open CyberNAP as the company's third data center in Maryland. The first phase of the project is scheduled to open in July, according to the Baltimore Business Journal (BBJ).

The 300,000-square-foot data center—the size of six football fields—is planned to house more than 10,000 equipment cabinets and support more than 1 million servers, according to a press release from AiNET. When complete, CyberNAP is projected to create more than 2,500 jobs, according to the release.
