Dental Assistant Admits To Arranging Boss's Fatal Beating
Shontay Joyner Hickman, 37, of Baltimore pleaded guilty Monday to the first-degree murder of her boss, a Glen Burnie dentist, according to The Baltimore Sun.

Shontay Joyner Hickman, 37, pleaded guilty in Anne Arundel County Circuit Court on Monday to arranging for the 2006 fatal beating of her boss, Dr. Albert Woonho Ro, according to The Baltimore Sun.
Hickman, of the 4600 block of Asbury Avenue in Baltimore, admitted to stealing $17,000 from Ro's dental office—where she worked as an assistant—and had him killed to cover it up, according to The Sun. She was sentenced to life in prison.
Both Hickman and her cousin, Dante A. Jeter, 24, of the 1600 block of East 30th Street in Baltimore, were arrested in 2010 in connection with Ro's murder. Jeter is scheduled to go to trial in May, according to The Sun.
