Equipment Collapses on Single-Engine Plane at BWI

No one was injured in the Thursday afternoon incident, according to airport officials.

Gear on a small aircraft collapsed on Thursday afternoon at Thurgood Marshall BWI Airport, officials said.

"Upon arrival at BWI, the nose gear on a small, single engine aircraft collapsed," BWI spokesman Jonathan Dean wrote in an email to Patch.

Dean said there were two people on board with no reported injuries. The incident did not impact routine commercial operations, he said.
