Family and Friends of Andrew Johnson to Hold Vigil, Fundraiser
Friends and family of Andrew Johnson will hold a candlelight vigil Friday night in Cedar-Morris Hill and a fundraiser Saturday night at CHJ Grill & Lounge in Glen Burnie.
Friends and family members of Andrew Johnson, the , will hold a candlelight vigil and a fundraiser this weekend.
The vigil will take place from 7 to 9:30 p.m. Friday at the Cedar-Morris Hill Recreation Center, 351 Arundel Corporation Rd.
On Saturday, friends and family will gather at CHJ Grill & Lounge (formerly Linda's Place), located at 7693 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. for a fundraiser. All money raised will go to Johnson's family to pay for his funeral.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the parking lot of , located in the 7100 block of Ritchie Highway, at about 10:35 p.m. Sunday for a reported shooting.
Once on the scene, officers discovered Johnson outside in the parking lot. He apparently was shot in the upper torso, police said. Johnson was taken to Harbor Hospital where he later died.
On Monday, police issued a warrant for the arrest of Cornelius Keith Johnson, 24, of Baltimore in connection with the murder of Andrew Johnson.
While the victim and the suspect share a last name, "no information is available concerning a possible relationship," said Lt. Francis Tewey, Anne Arundel County Police spokesman.
Court records show that both Andrew and Cornelius Johnson—the man shot and killed at Mo's Seafood on Sunday and the man police are seeking in connection with the murder—previously lived at the same Glen Burnie address, according to The Capital.
