The National Weather Service says torrential rain is possible.

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch, effective from Saturday night to Sunday morning, for much of Maryland, including Anne Arundel County.
The watch lasts from 8 p.m. Saturday to 8 a.m. Sunday for the following areas: Harford, Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Frederick, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties. The District of Columbia and parts of Virginia are also included in the flash flood watch.
