'Flush Tank' To Raise Money for Wounded Warriors

Stop by on Saturday and flush a "local celebrity" to help raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

The event will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday and for $1 you get two chances to flush people involved in our community.

People scheduled to sit include:

• Mark Chang from the county executive’s Community Services Office
• Northern Anne Arundel County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Fran Schmidt
• Bruster's owner Diane Montier
• Maryland Gazette editor Rick Hutzell

I also was asked to sit in the tank but unfortunately I won't be able to participate.

I'll admit, I was flattered to be included—am I really a local celebrity?—but I'm attending the National Association of Black Journalists convention in New Orleans this week and weekend.

If you're free, stop by Bruster's, take aim at a local celebrity and raise money for the Wounded Warriors.
