'Flush Tank' To Raise Money for Wounded Warriors

Drench "local celebrities" in the Royal Flush Tank at Bruster's Real Ice Cream on Saturday to raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

Stop by on Saturday and flush a "local celebrity" to help raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project.

The event will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday and for $1 you get two chances to flush people involved in our community.

I also was asked to sit in the tank but unfortunately I won't be able to participate.

I'll admit, I was flattered to be included—am I really a local celebrity?—but I'm attending the National Association of Black Journalists convention in New Orleans this week and weekend.
