Free Seasonal Flu Clinic Returns to Glen Burnie
Both the flu shot and nasal spray will be available Tuesday at the Glen Burnie Health Center.
The Anne Arundel County Department of Health once again is providing a free seasonal flu clinic Tuesday to residents at the .
The shot, nasal spray and high-dose seasonal vaccine will be available as well as pneumococcal vaccinations for seniors.
The clinic will be held from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and from 1-7 p.m. Appointments are not needed.

While the vaccines are free, donations are accepted.

"Annual vaccination for seasonal flu is recommended for all 6 months and older," said Becky Asher program manager for epidemiology and immunization, last year.
"Everyone getting a flu shot really helps to protect the entire community," she said last year, pointing out that the flu is a contagious disease. "They not only protect themselves, but their families and the community as a whole."
