Friendly Pets Looking for New Homes—Just $14
An adopt-a-thon on Sept. 14 will bring out dozens of adorable pets, looking for a new home at the cost of just $14 for owners.

Anne Arundel County Animal Control is hosting an adopt-a-thon next weekend, where all pets can be adopted for the discounted rate of just $14.
The adopt-a-thon will feature adoptable animals from local rescue groups and shelters. Also on-hand will be specialists that can walk new owners through low-cost spay and neuther clinics, and get information on humane education and bite prevention.
There will also be live music and a demonstration by the Anne Arundel County Police Department's K-9 unit, and more.
The event will be Saturday, Sept. 14 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the shelter, located at 411 Maxwell Frye Road in Millersville.
