Glen Burnie Boys Basketball No. 14 in Baltimore

BaltimoreSportsReport.com ranked the Glen Burnie High School boys basketball team in the top 15 on Tuesday for the first time this season.

Coming in at No. 14, the blog credited the Gophers' undefeated record even though they play in what writer Edgar Walker referred to as a "weaker conference."

According to BaltimoreSportsReport.com, the rankings are determined by considering results while taking their opponents strength and the margin of the victory or loss.

Walker said in the article that Glen Burnie could easily find itself at the top of the list if they continue to play as well as they have to start to season.

The ranking came before the team earned the championship title at the  night in their double-overtime win against  (73-69).

The win improves the Gophers' record to 9-0. They next play Jan. 3 at .
