GBIA To Celebrate Flag Day Tuesday

The following information was submitted to Patch by Candy Fontz, vice president of the (GBIA). It is printed here in its entirety and edited for Patch style:

"The Glen Burnie Improvement Association will hold a Flag Day Ceremony immediately following their general membership meeting on Tuesday. The monthly meeting begins promptly at 7 p.m. and the ceremony will take place immediately after the meeting, at approximately 7:30 p.m.

Bill Bierman, troop leader, and Garrett Bierman, Eagle Scout, of Boy Scout Troop 725 will conduct a solemn ceremony to properly dispose of an old or ragged flag.  Light refreshments will be served.
