Glen Burnie Area Educators Semifinalists for 'Teacher of the Year'
North County health teacher Don Foderaro, who was named the Anne Arundel County school board educator for the month of January, is among four Glen Burnie area teachers vying for the Public School Teacher of the Year.
In January , a health teacher at , was named the Anne Arundel County school board educator of the month for his work as a football and wrestling coach as well as his work with anti-bullying.
Now he is one of four Glen Burnie area educators were included in the list of 15 semifinalists for the .
The top five finalists are scheduled to be chosen later this month. The Public and Private School Teachers of the Year will be announced April 16 at the annual Excellence in Education banquet at the BWI Marriott in Linthicum, according to a press release from Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS).
