Glen Burnie Chick-fil-A Receiving Facelift
The store at the Centre at Glen Burnie is closing for at least three-and-a-half weeks for renovations.

Loyal customers of the Chick-fil-A at the Centre at Glen Burnie likely noticed the restaurant was closed beginning last Monday.
Owners said they hope to reopen July 5 with a new dining room and kitchen, said Connie Johnson, the store's marketing director.
"The dining room is getting a complete makeover," Johnson said. "It's going to be bigger behind the counter and we're getting a completely new kitchen."

Many customers stop by the restaurant for their weekly kids' night—but Johnson urged parents to bring their children to their sister restaurant located in Landsdowne Station at 3599 Washington Blvd.
To find out when events are being held at the Landsdowne location, Johnson said customers should keep an eye on their Facebook page.

"We're trying our best to keep everyone updated through our Facebook page," she said.
If renovation goes as scheduled, Johnson said they have some special events planned for the Friday, Saturday and Monday after they reopen. She said events will be listed on the Facebook page, as well.
