Glen Burnie Liquor Store Held Up: Police

The Anne Arundel County police are searching for the individual who robbed a Glen Burnie liquor store on Saturday night.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A masked robber held up a liquor store Saturday night in Glen Burnie and then eluded a police search of the area, according to the Anne Arundel County police. They said that at 10:20 p.m. on Jan. 5, officers responded to the report of a heist at 5th Avenue Liquors at 508 Crain Highway.

A store employee told the officers that the robber entered the store, implied he had a weapon and demanded money, according to a police report. The employee gave him money, and the individual fled the store on foot.

The robber is described as a male wearing a mask, light-colored clothing and gloves.
