Glen Burnie Man Discovered With Crack Cocaine, Marijuana: Police

A 20-year-old Glen Burnie man faces charges after police found 13.59 total grams of powder cocaine and 48.52 grams of crack cocaine on him.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A 20-year-old Glen Burnie man living at the Days Inn, 6600 Ritchie Highway, has been arrested and charged with possession with intent to distribute a narcotic, possession of CDS not marijuana and possession of CDS paraphernalia after Anne Arundel County police officers executed a search warrant at the hotel.

The following contraband, including 13.59 total grams of powder cocaine and 48.52 grams of crack cocaine, was recovered and seized from Gerrel Brandon Kess' motel room:

  • (18) baggies containing suspected crack cocaine (12.23 grams)
  • (1) sandwich baggie containing suspected powder cocaine (13.59 grams)
  • (2) round pieces of suspected crack cocaine (36.29 grams)
  • (2) plastic bags containing suspected marijuana (10.7 grams)
  • (1) digital scale with suspected cocaine residue
  • $2,077 U.S. Currency
  • CDS paraphernalia indicative of possession with intent to distribute
