Glen Burnie Man Eyes District 2 Council Seat
Ian "Pat" Hines announced his intention to run for the District 2 Anne Arundel County Council seat last week, saying he hopes to bring civility back to the governmental body.
Ian "Pat" Hines filed paperwork allowing him to raise money for a campaign to run for the District 2 Anne Arundel County Council seat in 2014, according to The Baltimore Sun.
Hines, 26, told the Sun he hopes to bring civility back to the council after over the past few weeks, adding that the current District 2 councilman, , "is disagreeable when he disagrees with you.”
According to his campaign page on Facebook, Hines grew up in the Old Mill/Southgate area and is a 2004 graduate of and currently works as director of communications for the Maryland Department of Human Resources.
