Man Shot and Killed in Glen Burnie Tavern

Police say victim and shooter may have known each other.

A Glen Burnie man died Dec. 4 after being shot multiple times in the 7300 block of Furnace Branch Road a little after midnight, police said.

Police arrived at Dietrich's Tavern at about 12:15 a.m. and found Kelly Terrell Fisher, 30, of Gatewood Court suffering from several gunshot wounds to the torso. He was transported to Baltimore-Washington Medical Center where he later died.

According to police, a male shooter exited a vehicle and shot at Fisher with a rifle. A preliminary investigation has lead police to believe that Fisher and the shooter knew each other and that he may have been targeted.
