Glen Burnie Memorial Day Parade Held Sunday
The parade will begin at 2 p.m. at Corkran Middle and end at Barbara Moeller Way.
In honor of Memorial Day, the (GBIA) will host their annual parade Sunday.
The parade will begin at on Quarterfield Road at 2 p.m., turn left onto Crain Highway and right onto Post 40 Road, ending at Barbara Moeller Way, according to an email GBIA Vice President Candy Fontz.
Anyone who wants to see the parade is encouraged to place blankets or chairs along the parade route.

Military organizations, local Girl and Boy Scout troops, pom squads and local businesses are among the parades expected participants.
There will be an opening ceremony in front of the reviewing stand at GBIA, locate at 19 Crain Highway S. Frank Hein will serve as the parade emcee and Tim Koneig will sing "The Star Spangled Banner" with American Legion Post 40 Color Guard presenting the colors.

Additionally, the recipient of the will be recognized by Walter Morrison, Carter's grandson, during the opening ceremony.
