Glen Burnie Residents Not Excited Over Casino Grand Opening

The new gaming and entertainment facility held its grand opening Wednesday night in Hanover, but not everyone is excited about the new venue.

I honestly toyed with the idea of going past the casino last night, but thought better of it. I wonder what the casino will do to traffic.

And I was interested to see how residents in the Glen Burnie area felt about the Maryland Live! casino.

"Stayed far, far away from that area!!!" wrote Robin Wingfield Lyons on Glen Burnie Patch's Facebook page.

Brent Anderson attempted to check it out, but also said he decided against it.

"Went, parked and saw the line. Turned around and went back home. Traffic was a nightmare," he wrote on Facebook.
