Glen Burnie Softball Beats Roosevelt, Heads to Final

The Glen Burnie softball team will face Sherwood High School in the State Finals on Saturday, at the University of Maryland.

The Glen Burnie High School softball team beat Eleanor Roosevelt High School, from Greenbelt, in the state semi-finals Tuesday, according to the MPSSAA website.

Glen Burnie was a fourth seed in the east bracket, and beat Roosevelt–the first seeded team in the south bracket–by a score of 13-1. This was the fourth victory for the gophers in this year's tournament.

The gophers will face Sherwood High School in the State Finals at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, at the University of Maryland College Park.
