Glen Burnie Teen Faces Robbery, Assault Charges
Police said Adrian Dominique Chapple, 19, was one of two suspects who stole an iPod and wallet from a 20-year-old man.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie teen Tuesday night after seeing him and another suspect running from the scene of a reported robbery, police said.
Adrian Chapple, 19, of the 6900 block of Glen Ridge Circle was charged with robbery, theft less than $1,000 and second-degree assault. Police continue to investigate the identity of a second male suspect.
According to a police press release, officers responded to the area of Ritchie and Crain highways in Glen Burnie at about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday for a reported robbery. When they arrived, they saw two men running in front of Bart's Sporting Goods and chased them. Police caught Chapple, who was identified by the victim, a 20-year-old man.

The victim told police that two men approached him in the area of Furnace Branch and Rippling Ridge roads when one of the men restrained him while the other went through his pockets. The man's iPhone and wallet were taken and the suspects ran in the direction of Royal Farms before police arrived.

Two male suspects allegedly attempted to rob a newspaper delivery driver at gunpoint early Wednesday morning in Glen Burnie, police said.
According to a police press release, officers responded to the 400 block of Nolcrest Road at about 4:10 a.m. Wednesday for a reported robbery. When they arrived they spoke with the victim, a 36-year-old man, who said he delivered a newspaper to an apartment on Glen Mar Road and was walking back to his car when two men approached him.
One of the suspects pulled a handgun and demanded money, according to police. The man reportedly told the suspects he did not have any money, and when the suspects were unable to locate any, they fled the area heading south toward Hidden Brook Drive.
Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area but were unable to locate the suspects.
