Glen Burnie Traffic Stop Yields Heroin, Warrant Arrest

Police arrested two men Wednesday night after a traffic stop in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel County police arrested two men after officers discovered an outstanding warrant for the driver and heroin in the possession of the passenger during a traffic stop Wednesday night in Glen Burnie.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., police stopped a vehicle on Crain Highway and 1st Avenue for a traffic violation. Police found the driver had an outstanding warrant and arrested him.

Through investigation, police also found 3.64 grams of heroin in the passenger's possession. The heroin is worth an estimated $156, according to police.

The department also seized the vehicle, which was owned by the passenger.

Police charged Cory Major Greer, 26, of Baltimore, with drug violations. They arrested the driver, Michael Anthony Clark, 43, of Pasadena, but did not specify what offenses led to the warrant for his arrest.
