Heroin Bust During Traffic Stop Nets 12 Gel Caps, Liquid Morphine: Police
Pasadena woman is facing charges of heroin possession with intent to distribute, according to Anne Arundel Police.

GLEN BURNIE, MD — A Pasadena woman is facing several drug charges, including possession with intent to distribute heroin, according to Anne Arundel County Police.
The arrest Tuesday is part of an investigation into multiple overdose cases in the county, according to a statement from police.
Laura Michelle Bruce, 32, of the 100 block of Lake Shore Road in Pasadena, also is charged with possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia, as well as 6 counts of possession of a controlled substance.

Members of the county's Heroin Task Force arrested Bruce during a traffic stop Tuesday afternoon on Crain Highway in Glen Burnie.
A search of the vehicle allegedly uncovered 12 heroin gel capsules, 46 various prescription pills, a vial of liquid morphine and other paraphernalia, according to police.
