'House of Cards' Seeks Extras in Annapolis
Casting agency issues call for several types of characters as Netflix show plans fourth season.

Producers for House of Cards have announced a casting call on Saturday, May 30, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Pip Moyer Recreation Center, 273 Hilltop Lane in Annapolis. The political thriller starring Oscar-winner Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright films in Maryland.

The casting company is looking for the following:
- Government official types
- Black tie affair
- Cocktail party dresses
- Business casual
- Art gallery types
- Working class

Production of House of Cards, season four, is slated to begin this summer and air in 2016, the announcement said.
The Netflix show has a soundstage in Harford County, where it has been filming since season one.
People must be at least 18 years old to participate. Bring two forms of identification to the casting call, and come prepared for the camera—women should have their makeup and hair done.
