K-9 Rocky Remembered as Source of Safety, Goodwill
The Anne Arundel County Sheriff's Department is honoring a retired police dog who has passed away.

A K-9 member of the Anne Arundel County Sheriff’s Department is being remembered this week for his work in law enforcement and his outreach to the community.
On its Facebook page the department said retired K-9 Rocky had died. He had served the area for more than 10 years with his handler L/Cpl. Michele Goodman.
As a working police dog, Rocky conducted tens of thousands of daily “sniffs” of material entering the Judicial Complex, the office says. In the most recent football season Rocky swept the Navy/Marine Corps Stadium before Naval Academy football games.
