Man Approaches Pre-Teens, Police Say No Threats Made

Police are trying to identify the man described as white, in his 30s and driving a white utility vehicle.

Anne Arundel County police are seeking information about a man who asked a pre-teen girl if he could give her a ride to school on Thursday morning in Glen Burnie.

Police said "no physical contact was made at any point, no threats were made" and the man did not attempt to grab the girl.

Two 12-year-old girls, who are Marley Middle School students, told police the man approached them at about 7:30 a.m. Thursday in the area of Americana Circle. Police said one of the girls refused the ride offer and the girls walked to a bus stop by crossing a path that links to a nearby shopping center.
