Police arrested one suspect and are looking for another in the Tuesday night robbery.

Anne Arundel County police arrested one woman and are seeking information on another woman involved in the assault and robbery of a woman in Brooklyn Park on Tuesday night.
Shortly after 8:30 p.m., officers reported to the area of Morgan Road and Alley 88 for a report of an assault in progress, and found a man detaining a woman on the ground.
The man told police that he saw his wife on the ground after she was punched in the face by the woman and another female suspect. He chased them away from his wife, and managed to detain one of the suspects who stole his wife's purse.
Police arrested Mary Ellen Carr, 22, of Brooklyn Park, and charged her with robbery, theft and second-degree assault.
Officers searched the immediate area for the second suspect, but failed to locate her. Investigators are still seeking the second suspect, who is described as a white female with a thin build, between 5-foot-4 and 5-foot-6, wearing a dark sweatshirt and blue jeans.
