Man Pleads Guilty to Robbing Glen Burnie Bank

Prosecutors say Gary Allen Densmore began a bank robbing spree in Glen Burnie in February and went on to rob banks in at least three other states, according to The Capital.

A man pleaded guilty Monday to robbing Severn Savings Bank in Glen Burnie earlier this year, according to an article in The Capital.

Gary Allen Densmore, 56, of Glen Burnie pleaded guilty to three counts of bank robbery, according to The Capital.

In February, from an attempted robbery at Carrollton Bank and a robbery at Severn Savings Bank. The banks are less than a mile apart.

According to police, at about 11:15 a.m. Feb. 3, a man at the Severn Savings Bank at 413 Crain Highway S. passed a note to a bank teller demanding money. The man left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

According to a Densmore's plea agreement, he attempted to rob the Carrollton Bank located at 427 Crain Highway N. the day before, The Capital reported. In that case, when the teller told the man she had no money in her drawer and would need to try another teller, he left without receiving any money.

Densmore is scheduled to be sentenced Feb. 23, according to The Capital.
