Meals on Wheels Celebrates Longtime Volunteer's 90th Birthday
Severn resident Cecelia Sobeck was surprised by Meals on Wheels staff—an organization she's volunteered with for 17 years—with a 90th birthday celebration last week.
Meals on Wheels surprised 17-year volunteer Cecelia Sobeck with a 90th birthday party last week.
Sobeck has volunteered for Meals on Wheels (MOW) at the for 17 years, working a Glen Burnie route between one and three days a week, said Terry A. Lehr, program supervisor for Meals on Wheels of Central Maryland.
On March 14, the day after the Severn resident's birthday, MOW staff and volunteers celebrated with a cake.
