Mission BBQ To Host WWII Veterans for Lunch
The Glen Burnie restaurant will host 22 World War II veterans in honor of Memorial Day.

A group of World War II veterans will make a stop in Glen Burnie on Sunday to grab some barbecue.
The 22 veterans—ranging in age from 85 to 101—are part of Honor Flight Network and are stopping at on Sunday afternoon after spending a weekend touring Washington, DC, according to a press release from the restaurant.
The National Honor Flight Network is a nonprofit organization that pays tribute to those who have served in war by rewarding them with a “Tour of Honor” to Washington, DC, according to the release.

The event takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday at Mission BBQ, located at 7748 Ritchie Highway in the Harundale Shopping Center.
