Witnesses told police they saw the airman climb over the seventh-floor balcony and hang onto the railing before he fell onto the ground level of the "atrium" lobby of the hotel.
The airman suffered injuries that were life threatening and was taken to the where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Officers on the scene were unable to locate any evidence of foul play or an apparent suicide; however, witnesses said the airman was intoxicated. Police said they believe that may have been a factor in his death.
