North County Alum Named Junior College All-American

North County High alum Denver Clyde recently was named to the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Division II women's basketball all-American first team.

Clyde, a freshman at Chesapeake College, was one of 10 players named to the all-American first team and the only first-team selection from Maryland, according to the school's website.

The 2011 North County graduate also was selected to play in the NJCAA Coaches Association All-Star Weekend at Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, FL, in July.
