Linthicum also named new honorary mayor and presented the Pastor Gilroy Award.
After being rained out and with the threat of rain and cold weather, the annual was held Sunday in St. John Lutheran Church.
During the fair a new was named—John M. Stoll. Bernadette Simon was named the deputy honorary mayor.
The mayor and deputy mayor were chosen for their involvement in the community, helping to make Linthicum a better place. Nominations were accepted until Sept. 4.

Martin Muller and Henry "Butch" LaWall received the Pastor Gilroy Award, which was created in 2009 on the 20th anniversary of the fair in honor of the Rev. Dr. William F. R. Gilroy. Gilroy started the fair before turning it over to the community.
