Picture Yourself in a Park Poster Contest

We want to know – what do you love about Anne Arundel County Parks? What do you like to do at the park? Who do you like to visit the park with? Use your creativity to design a poster representing what you love about Anne Arundel County Parks and your design may be chosen to help us promote the Go Fourth and Explore initiative we will be launching this fall. At least one winner’s artwork will be featured on the cover of our 2015 Fall/Winter Program Guide, on our website and social media and on promotional posters for the Go Fourth & Explore initiative.

As part of the National Park Service’s 100th anniversary in 2016, President Obama has issued the Every Kid in a Park initiative as a national call to action to get children to visit and enjoy America’s unparalleled outdoors. Go Fourth & Explore is Anne Arundel Recreation & Parks’ nod to this initiative and will encourage all Anne Arundel County 4th graders and their families to visit our county’s picturesque parks, trails, and sanctuaries by offering a FREE ONE DAY PARK PASS which can be used any time during the 2015-2016 school year.
