Anne Arundel County police arrested a Salisbury man Monday afternoon on several charges after police said he had more than $16,000 worth of drugs on him and in his vehicle.

Michael Lee Neuerburg, 33, of the 5600 block of Spinnaker Dr., was charged with two counts of distribution of cocaine, four counts of possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, four counts of possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute ecstasy and marijuana and possession of ecstasy and marijuana.

Glen Burnie: Two-alarm fire

Anne Arundel County fire and rescue workers took a 64-year-old woman to the Thursday afternoon after a fire in her apartment.

The woman was said to have had serious and life-threatening injuries due to smoke inhalation, said fire spokesman Lt. Cliff Kooser. Preliminary information suggested she may have also suffered some burns, he said.

Odenton: Murder indictment

An Anne Arundel County Grand Jury indicted a former Glen Burnie man last month in connection with a 2006 "cold case" murder at in Odenton.

William Lloyd McDonald, 31, was charged with the first-degree murder of Benjamin Curtis that occurred in August 2006, as well as other charges, according to a press release from the Anne Arundel County State's Attorney's office.
