Police Arrest Glen Burnie Woman on Drug Charges

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie woman Thursday after executing a search and seizure warrant at her home.

Sherry Ann Beard-Bushey, 46, of the 300 block of Roosevelt Avenue was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of marijuana.

According to a police press release, officers executed the warrant on Thursday after an investigation into illegal drug activity possibly occurring at the residence.

Detectives seized about 4.5 pounds of "high-grade marijuana" and drug paraphernalia. Police said the marijuana was worth about $41,800.
