Police: Brooklyn Park Suspicious Person Report 'Unfounded'

Anne Arundel County police said Tuesday that a was unfounded.

According to a police press release:

Further investigation has deemed the report of a suspicious subject on May 25, 2012, and May 29, 2012 to be unfounded.

Police initially reported that a 9-year-old girl said she was walking the area of Alley 44 and 5th Avenue on May 29 when a man approached her and asked her where she was going. The girl ran home.

Police said the girl told officers the man did not attempt to grab or touch her in any way and that the same man approached her May 25 in the area of 5th Avenue and Morgan Road.
