Police Chase Baltimore Man, Arrest Him on Gun Charges
Police said the man ran and threw a handgun that was in his waistband when they approached him outside a Linthicum motel.

Police said a Baltimore man ran from them and attempted to discard a handgun that was in his waistband when officers approached him outside a Linthicum motel.
Deandre R. Hill, 31, of the 2900 block of Lakebrook Circle in Baltimore was charged with several handgun violations and related charges.
According to a police press release, officers were conducting surveillance of possible drug and prostitution activity at the Motel 6 in the 5100 block of Raynor Avenue in Linthicum at about 12:10 a.m. on Saturday.

Detectives saw people participating in what they described as suspicious activity in the parking lot. When they approached the people, police said Hill ran and detectives chased him. During the chase, officers said Hill threw a handgun from his waistband.
Police caught and arrested Hill and recovered the handgun, which police said was loaded.
