Police Find Cocaine on Glen Burnie Burglary Suspect

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man after finding him in a reported burglary-in-progress, and seized cocaine that was in his possession.

Mark Dale McCartney, 44, was arrested and charged him with first- and third-degree burglary, rogue and vagabond, and drug possession.

Shortly before 11 a.m., officers responded to the reported burglary on the 7100 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, and found a man walking outside the residence.

According to police, the man allegedly entered the victim's vehicle to take items, and was confronted by the homeowners when he entered the residence. The victims did not know the alleged intruder.
