Anne Arundel County police said they arrested an Annapolis man and a Glen Burnie teen on charges stemming from a domestic incident that left a woman and her son with stab wounds.

Timothy Lee Styles, 44, of the 1900 block of Copeland Street in Annapolis, was charged with two counts of attempted second-degree murder, two counts of first- and second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and failure to obey a lawful order.

Lorenzo Derrick Hall, 19, of the 7800 block of Tall Pines Court in Glen Burnie, was charged with first- and second-degree assault, disorderly conduct, reckless endangerment and four handgun violations.​

Glen Burnie: Drug arrests

Anne Arundel County police arrested two men on drug charges in separate incidents near early Friday morning, with one man allegedly trying to swallow bags of crack cocaine.

Kenneth Tyrone Smith, 28, of the 3700 block of Brooklyn Avenue in Baltimore, was charged with possession of drugs and possession with intent to distribute drugs.

Paul Ivan Garman, 26, of the 1000 block of 1st Avenue in Glen Burnie, was charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, possession of Diazepam and other charges.

Glen Burnie: Kitchen fire

Four adults and two children lost their home Thursday night after a kitchen fire claimed the house, fire officials said.

Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 1800 block of Ridgewick Road in Glen Burnie at about 7:40 p.m. Thursday, according to a fire spokesman.

Linthicum: Suspicious bag at BWI

BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport officials deemed a bag to be harmless Thursday afternoon, after airline personnel reported seeing a smoking piece of luggage on the tarmac.

An investigation determined that an aerosol can in the bag had discharged and caused the appearance of smoke, a BWI spokesman said.

Linthicum: Prostitution arrest

On Tuesday, Anne Arundel County police arrested a California woman who is accused of using Linthicum-area hotels to house prostitutes.

Shkoyia Michelle Lomack, 19, of Sacramento, CA, was charged with human trafficking compensation, prostitution business and prostitution and other charges.

The Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded late Tuesday night to a crash near the intersection of West Nursery Road and Corporate Boulevard.
