Police Hope to Recover Lost Convenience Store Bank Bag
Maryland State Police are trying to locate a cash bag lost by a Glen Burnie convenience store employee early Thursday morning.

Maryland State Police (MSP) are asking for residents' help after a Glen Burnie convenience store employee said he lost a bank bag containing a large amount of cash early Thursday morning.
Troopers said a man contacted them Thursday morning and said he lost a bank bag with cash in it that he was taking to deposit into the bank, according to an MSP press release.
The man told police he placed the bag on top of his SUV but forgot to remove it before he drove off. He said he thinks he lost the bag, which is light red with "7-11" on it, at about 5:45 a.m. Thursday along northbound Interstate 97 around Maryland Route 100.

Troopers passed through the area at about 6 a.m. Thursday, but did not find the bag.
Anyone with information about the location of the bag, or who may have recovered some of the cash, is urged to contact MSP's Glen Burnie Barrack at 410-761-5130.
