Police Investigate Armed Robbery at Barbecue, Blues & Seafood

A woman and three men face multiple charges relating to an incident that occurred Sunday evening at the restaurant in Glen Burnie, said police.

Police arrested three men and a woman Sunday in connection with the armed robbery of in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel County Police said the following face charges of armed robbery, robbery, second-degree assault and theft: Michael Anthony Hasselberger, 19, of Glen Burnie; Darlene Allison Clagg, 24, of Brooklyn Park; and Daniel Aaron Church, 25, and Todd William Coolahan, 23, both of Halethorpe.

According to a police report, officers responded to the 7600 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard at about 6 p.m. Sunday for a reported robbery of Barbecue, Blues & Seafood.

Witnesses on the scene told officers the suspects drove away in a 2010 Chevrolet Impala and gave them the tag number. Officers reportedly located the car on Chain O Hills Road and pulled them over. Police said they questioned the occupants of the car and confiscated weapons.

After the investigation, officers discovered that two of the suspects entered the restaurant and announced a robbery, with one suspect displaying a possible handgun. An employee gave the suspects an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

A witness reportedly identified two of the suspects and police arrested all four. The investigation is ongoing, according to a press release from police.
