Police: Man Rips Woman's Pants Off, Steals Money
In a separate incident, a group of male suspects robbed a man behind Ashley's Station in Ferndale early Saturday morning.

Brooklyn Park: Assault, robbery arrest
Anne Arundel County police arrested a Baltimore man Saturday, alleging that he ripped the pants off of a woman in a Brooklyn Park apartment and stole money from her.
Sidney Phillip Lumpkins, 31, of the 300 block of Old Riverside Road in Baltimore was charged with robbery, first- and second-degree assault and theft.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the 400 block of Church Street in Brooklyn Park at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday for a report of a man assaulting a woman.
Officers spoke with a 57-year-old Baltimore woman who said she was inside an apartment on Church Street with a friend and Lumpkins, whom she said she did not know. The woman said she took money out of her pocket to loan to her friend when Lumpkins saw she had more money.

Lumpkins asked the woman for money, but she refused. The woman told police that Lumpkins hit her, causing her to fall to the ground, got on top of her and began to strangle her. Police said Lumpkins then physically pulled the pants off of the victim and took an undisclosed amount of cash from the pocket before running from the scene.
The woman described Lumpkins and officers located him a short time later and apprehended him. Police said the victim and her friend both identified Lumpkins as the suspect in the incident.
Glen Burnie: Robbery
A group of male suspects robbed a man as he stood behind restaurant in Ferndale early Saturday morning, police said.
At about 12:30 p.m. Saturday, a 31-year-old man went to the Northern District Police Station to report a robbery that occurred earlier that morning, according to a police press release.
The man told police that he was standing behind Ashley's Station in the 7200 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard at about 1:45 a.m. Saturday when a group of eight male suspects passed him. One approached him and punched him in his face, causing him to fall to the ground, drop his cell phone and a silver chain necklace.
The man, who sustained minor injuries, said the suspects took the phone and necklace and ran from the area. The man was not able to identify the suspects. An investigation is ongoing.
