Police Report Stabbing, Robbery on Crain Highway

The victim was stabbed in a lower extremity before two men stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled, according to police.

Two men stabbed and robbed a 42-year-old man on Crain Highway in Glen Burnie on Tuesday night, police said.

Officers responded to the at about 4:45 a.m. Wednesday for a reported stabbing and robbery that happened Tuesday night on Crain Highway, according to a police press release.

Police spoke with the victim who said he was walking in the 500 block of Crain Highway sometime after 11 p.m. when a man approached him and asked if he wanted to purchase drugs.

The victim and the suspect got into an altercation and a second suspect got involved. During the altercation, one of the suspects stabbed the victim in a lower extremity, police said. The suspects reportedly stole an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the area in an unknown direction.

Several officers searched the area but were unable find the suspects.
