Police Say 3 Men Robbed a Teenage Boy Wednesday Night in Brooklyn Park

Three men robbed a 17-year-old boy Wednesday night in Brooklyn Park, police said.

Officers were informed of a robbery that happened at about 10:40 p.m. in the area of Belle Grove and West Arden roads, according to a police press release.

Police spoke with the victim, a 17-year-old boy, who said he was walking in the area with his girlfriend when three men approached him. One of the men grabbed and restrained the teen while the other two men assaulted him and took his cellular phone, police said.

The men then fled the scene on Belle Grove Road. Officers, a K-9 unit and an aviation unit searched the area but were unable to find the men, police said.
