Police Say Woman and Three Others Robbed Her Ex-Boyfriend

Another robbery also occurred Sunday in Brooklyn Park, but no arrests were made.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a woman and three other people in connection with the robbery of the woman's ex-boyfriend and another woman, police said.

Danielle Elizabeth Thomson, 19, of Baltimore—the ex-girlfriend of the victim, Ashley Michelle Staab, 23, of Pasadena and John Martin, 23, and Philip Kasparites, 19, both of Glen Burnie all were charged with robbery and assault.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the area of Furnace Avenue and Gatewater Court in Glen Burnie at about 1:30 a.m. Sunday for a reported robbery.

Once on the scene, officers spoke with a 23-year-old Pasadena man and a 25-year-old Brooklyn Park woman who said they were walking in the area when the Pasadena man was on the phone with his ex-girlfriend, Thomson. Police said that after Thomson learned the location of her ex-boyfriend, she and three others drove up in a Black Pontiac Sunfire.

Police said two men, Martin and Kasparities, assaulted the Pasadena man, possibly with knives, and the victim was cut during the incident. The women, Thomson and Staab, are accused of assaulting the Brooklyn Park woman by kicking her and knocking her to the ground, poilce said.

Police said Thomson and Staab then took the Brooklyn Park woman's purse and all four drove from the scene in the Sunfire. Officers spotted the car as it was leaving the area and stopped it on Furnace Branch Road East. Police said they found all four suspects in the car along with the Brooklyn Park woman's purse.

Both victims were taken to the to be treated for non life-threatening injuries.

Brooklyn Park: Robbery

Two men robbed a 40-year-old Little Caesars employee as she left the Brooklyn Park store Sunday afternoon.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the pizza shop located in the 5600 block of Ritchie Highway for a reported robbery.

Officers spoke with the store employee who said she was leaving the store when two men pushed her from behind. The woman said the men took an undisclosed amount of cash from her and ran from the area toward Morgan Road and 17th Avenue.

Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area, but did not find the men. The woman suffered minor injuries but police said she refused treatment.
