Police Searching for Man in Alleged Sexual Assault

The woman reported that the man assaulted her while walking in the 300 block of Hospital Drive early Wednesday after they left a Crain Highway bar together, police said.

 

Anne Arundel County police said they are looking for a man who has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman early Wednesday morning in Glen Burnie.

Police released a composite sketch of the suspect, who was described as a black man standing about 6-feet-4-inches tall, weighing about 280 lbs, with short black hair that was in twists and a tattoo on his neck.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the at about 1:40 a.m. for a reported sexual assault.

Once on the scene, the victim told police she met the man earlier in the evening at a bar on Crain Highway and had left the bar with him. She told police that she was walking with the man on Hospital Drive when he sexually assaulted her. The man was last seen heading toward Mountain Ridge Drive.

Officers said they searched the area but were unable to find the man. Police are asking anyone with any information about the incident to call Detective Justin Widup at 410-222-3468.
