Attempted Armed Robbery at Exxon

In a separate incident, police said a male suspect robbed a Glen Burnie Dunkin' Donuts at gunpoint Monday night.

released a surveillance camera photo of a man they say attempted to rob the Green Tree Exxon gas station in Glen Burnie at gunpoint last week.

According to a police press release, the man in the photograph entered the Exxon located in the 8000 block of Crain Highway in Glen Burnie at about 3:40 a.m. Feb. 1 and attempted to rob the store at gunpoint. Police said the man pulled a handgun and demanded money from an employee but ran from the scene without taking anything.

Police said the man is known to frequent the Exxon parking lot with several other people in the evenings.

A male suspect robbed a Glen Burnie Dunkin' Donuts at gunpoint Monday night, police said.

According to a police press release, officers responded to the Dunkin' Donuts located in the 7100 block of Ritchie Highway for a reported armed robbery. According to witnesses, a male suspect entered the store, pulled a handgun and threatened the clerk before taking an undisclosed amount of cash.

The male suspect then ran to an unknown vehicle parked in a nearby parking lot and drove north on Crain Highway. Officers searched the area but did not find the suspect.
